As New Media Specialist, Tim Hurley oversees all media production, including video, radio and internet. In addition to Gotham’s web and social media campaigns, Tim also creates websites for our clients and manages their social media profiles to attract and win issue/brand awareness and community engagement.

Before joining Gotham, Tim’s company, Hudson Moon Productions created and managed websites for best-selling authors, television personalities and small businesses. Tim created the website and online community for Donald Trump’s exploratory campaign of the 2012 presidential race.

Before the internet revolution, Tim was an award-winning television producer and writer at Court TV where he served as a segment producer and special features producer. There, he created some of the channel’s most creative video tape pieces, including the special, “Mothers Behind Bars”, a look at the effect of the Rockefeller drug laws on women convicts with families.

Before joining Court TV, Tim served for more than a decade as a producer and writer for Geraldo Rivera on both his syndicated daytime show and later, CNBC Primetime. For Geraldo, he produced full episodes and field produced on-location shoots inside Attica State Prison and various other news hot spots around the country.

A native Long Islander and animal lover, Tim lives in Bellmore with this bird, SweetCheeks – an Australian lutino cockatiel he rescued from a Manhattan rooftop in 2007.
