A nefarious – and pointedly obnoxious – cartoon character called “Frankie the Fraudster” was today named a 2012 spokesman for New Yorkers Stand Against Insurance Fraud (NYSAIF), an organization of drivers fighting rampant auto insurance fraud in the Empire State.

Our role as fans and supporters of development should now be to change the conversation on what should be done to revitalize the Hub and keep the Islanders in Nassau County. Some of the best and brightest minds are now developing plans for the Hub, so the question now becomes, how do we best utilize the land and keep the Islanders in Nassau County.

Wednesday’s rally held next to site where Trump wants to build was organized by a newly formed advocacy group called Alliance to Revitalize Jones Beach, which was founded by Rafe Lieber, a Plainview resident who worked as a legislative aide to former State Sen. Craig Johnston. The rally featured numerous chants of “We want jobs” and “Let Trump build.”
